Restore or Reset default menu, settings and toolbars in AutoCAD for Windows and Mac

Sometimes happens that we open our AutoCAD, and give us the surprise that we don’t have any toolbars or tabs on the Ribbon or Command Line, and we cannot begin or continue our drawing. In this tutorial I'm gonna show you how to restore or reset settings to default, bars or tabs on the Ribbon by default in AutoCAD. To do this I have identified three solutions, the first is a new option for the newer versions of AutoCAD, the second is for most versions of AutoCAD and the third is related to a preventive way to restore your configuration with one in good condition. SOLUTION TO AUTOCAD FOR MAC: For AutoCAD 2014 for Mac SP1 and newer, hold down the Shift key while launching AutoCAD. Within the program (and for versions older than 2014), to reset the palettes, click the Window menu and choose Reset Palettes or enter RESETPALETTES on the command line. To reset the entire program:

1. Click Preferences under the AutoCAD menu.
2. Click the Application tab.
3. Click the button "Reset Application Options."
4. Click "Rest AutoCAD."
